This was taken at Yellowstone National Park in 2001 by a very dear friend. I had an awesome experience there as I was used to the landscape of Kentucky and the Eastern U.S. I had never seen anything like the Grand Tetons and the Sawtooth mountains,or the magnificent geysers at Yellowstone.

I graduated from St. Catherine Academy in 1969, which alas is no more. I know when I was at the academy there were many foreign students who boarded. All girls...I got an excellent HS education thanks to my parents, who only had six more younger.

I always thought I wanted to be a teacher or nurse, but I ended up working for my Dad in his insurance and real estate business. And my Dad taught me so much that when I married an Insurance guy later, he eventually had me working for him...though he told me at the beginning NO! He sold his agency in 1998 and I worked for the new owner until 2002.

But when I think back on all the past, I was a teacher to my kids and his kids, and a nurse for him in his last months.

I love my Cats through the good and the bad...always have and always will.

Off the subject of basketball

But I just saw Wesley Woodyard's Cat Walk at the Music City Bowl.

Kentucky fans are one amazing group of people be it basketball or football or another sport.

It took him almost 10 minutes to get through that crowd. He was hugging multitudes and signing things for the young kids.

What a great guy and a UK football player.

I wish him the best in the NFL.
